Jessie's new nappy bag
This fabric I got way back last May. I had every intention of finishing this BEFORE Jessica was born. Didn't happen. Finally got it done this week. Took no time to cut out and put together. I really need to make another one for a gift.
I've got one cut out for a friend whose baby just turned one...and I've had the fabric since she was about 5-6 months pregnant, and the pieces cut out since soon after the baby was born....(sigh) I'm going to try to finish it before I see her - either in February or March. I also still need to cut and sew mine! My baby is 18 months, so I want to get it done in time to use it for awhile! :)
I made this nappy bag out of some fabric I picked up at Joann's. It didn't hold too well on the bottom seam, but I loved the shape of the bag. Did you do all the inside pockets and changing pad, too?
Now you have me rethinking of not selling that pattern. It's currently in a friend's garage awaiting a garage sale next weekend. Hmm, let me think about that! LOL
Where do you buy most of your fabric online?
Found your blog via The Homemaker's Mentor post on sewing.
